Isabella pov

Isabella couldn't get the thought of Alexander and Celine's baby out of her head. She was convinced that the child was not his, and she had to do something about it. So, she decided to pay a visit to Alexander's mother, hoping to convince her of the same.

As she drove to the estate, Isabella rehearsed her lines in her head. She knew that Mrs. Jameson had always favored her over any other girl Alexander had brought home, and she was counting on that fact to work in her favor.

Isabella stepped out of her car and took a deep breath before approaching the grand entrance of the Jameson family estate. She had been anticipating this visit for a long time, eager to get her claws back into Alexander.
