Chapter 2:My twin sister was Hospitalize

Selena was rushed to the emergency room,Sophia and her mother wanted to go inside the emergency room and the nurses stop them, they stood outside the emergency room and they were restless waiting for the doctors response, some few minutes later, the doctor came out from the emergency room, Sophia and her mum hastily ran closer to the doctor.

“ Doctor! What is going on with my twin sister?” Sophia ask as she was scared.

“ I am afraid but the patient confit is getting worse day by day that it has already affected her internal breathing, right now money is needed urgently to treat her as fast as we could, the disease had already spread in her body” the doctor says and Sophia break down in tears with her mother because they don’t have that money to pay.

“ How much is the money?”Their mother ask.

“ For the treatment and for the test we have to do, it’s required $7000” the doctor says and Sophia and her mother cry more.

“ Excuse me, I need to attend to other patients but you can see her for the main time” the doctor says and he left, Sophia and her mother rushed into the emergency room and they met Selena in a bad condition and her she has the respiratory mask on in her nose, Sophia was overwhelmed, their mother got emotional and she went close to her holding her hand, Sophia can’t just see her sister in a bad condition and she also went closer to her.

“ Selena! Promise you will be fine right?” Sophia ask her twin sister and she cried more and Selena was breathing fast.

“ Sophia! What ever happened, please just take care of mother, she will need you the most” Selena says and Sophia cried, their mother shut her mouth.

“ What are you saying? Don’t you ever says that because that will break my heart” their mother says.

“ Selena! Promise me that you never leave me” Sophia says and her cellphone rang and she stare at the screen of the her cellphone and it’s her friend Olivia calling.

“ Who is that calling?” Their mother ask.

“Its Olivia mum” Sophia replied and she clean her tears.

“ You should pick up the call” their mum says and Sophia nods her head.

“ Sure mum” Sophia says and she went outside of the emergency room to pick up the call, she place the cellphone gently on her hears.

“ Hi Olivia” Sophia says and she tried not cry.

“ Sophia! I was at your boss place so we can go back home together but I was told that you don’t longer work there. What happened?” Olivia ask and Sophia could not control her emotions.

“ She said I always come late to work and she can’t tolerate it anymore” Sophia says and she bust into tears, Olivia notice.

“ What happened Sophia?” Olivia ask.

“ My sister was rushed to the hospital and the doctor said that money is needed urgently for her treatment and some other test, they will need to carry out” Sophia says in tears.

“ Now that i lost my job, I don’t know what else to do now that I lost my job” Sophia says in tears.

“ Well, there was a vacancy at the city club in Los Angeles. If you do not mind working there as a waiter then you can submit a job application. Listen, I know that you don’t like working in clubs but you don’t have a choice right now, your twin sister is dying and money is needed urgently so go for the job”Olivia says.

“ Do you have any idea, how much the pay is?”Sophia ask.

“ I guess, the pay is $500 because it’s a big club and one of the biggest in Lost Angeles” Olivia reply.

“ I will take the job. Where should I meet you?” She ask and Olivia gage her address of where to meet her, Sophia ends the call and she went back inside the emergency room.

“ Mum! I want to meet with Olivia, she said that City Club has vacancy, I want to go see for my self who knows I might be lucky, I get employed, the pay is $500” Sophia says.

“ You don’t like working in clubs but you want to do this for me, I will never forget this day, you want inconvenient yourself for me” Selena says.

“ Selena! You are my twin sister and I will do anything for you. Trust me” Sophia says and she drop the $50 cash, her ex boss gave her.

“ Mum! You should add this money to your savings, I will leave now” she says and she went out of the emergency room, Selena and their mother cried.

“ Mum! Stop crying. Let’s pray to the lord so Sophia can get the job” Selena says and her mum hold her hands.

Sophia and Olivia met and they entered a taxi, few minutes later, they got to City Club, Sophia was nervous because she don’t always go to clubs, Olivia notice and she stop her.

“ Sophia! It’s seems you are nervous. Listen, you have to be smart if you want that job” Olivia says.

“ I have never do this job before or even go for an interview for it” Sophia says.

“ I know but trust me, you will be fine. We will go apply for the job first and if the boss said that, you should submit your application then, there is a hope” Olivia says.

“ But are sure that they employ me?” Sophia ask.

“ Don’t be negative, you should be positive” Olivia says and they both entered the club, it was noisy, people dancing, strippers in the poll doing their jobs, Billionaires celebrating, some having meeting, some have fun, the waiter and waitresses serving drinks, Olivia took Sophia to the personal assistant of the owner of the club.

“ Good evening” Olivia says.

“ How may I help you?” The personal assistant ask.

“ I am here ti see your boss, my friend here wants to apply for the waitress job” Olivia says and the personal assistant stare at Sophia from head to toe.

“ Is sue the one applying for the job?” The personal assistant ask.

“ Yes, I am” Sophia replies, the personal assistant stare at her because Sophia was wearing low qualities dress and outdated outfit.

“ I am not sure, she is not qualified for the job” the person assistant says and Olivia became upset.

“ What do you mean, she is not qualified for the job? You are not even the boss” Olivia says in anger.

“ Miss! It would be better if you don’t cause a scene here. The boss is not available for now and even though if he is, she won’t be chance because she is not sexy enough for this job, she looks doll” the personal assistant says and Olivia was upset and she wanted to yell at the personal assistant but Sophia stop her.

“ Don’t cause a scene because of me. Let’s go” Sophia says and she was not happy, they both walked out of the club and Sophia stop and she was sad.

“ If it was Selena, she would have try and convince her so she can be employed but me, I am not smart and I am doll just like she said, I have failed as a twin sister, Selena did not deserve that position, she is, I think I deserve it” she says in tears.

“ Crying won’t resolve the issue, the only thing you need is solution and stop looking down at your self” Olivia says and Sophia clean her tears.

“ I think, I will wait for the boss, and I will try to convince him” she says.

“ Are you sure you can do this?” Olivia ask.

“ I will try my best because I know that if I was in that condition Selena is, she will do more than this” Sophia says and Olivia’s cellphone rings, she pick up the call and it was her mother.

“ Sophia! I am sorry but I have to go now. It was my mum on the phone and she wants to come home” Olivia says.

“ It fine, you can leave and thank you for your help” Sophia says.

“ Are you sure you can handle this?” Olivia ask and Sophia nods her head.

“ You should not worry, I can handle it. You should leave now” Sophia says and they both hug and Olivia left.
