The moonlight and the stars made the night bright. SABRINA SANTIAGOThe tickling sound of raindrops on the roofing wasn't sorting. My body felt literally on fire, I could feel my tears trail burning down my cheeks. My inner body and back burned and my chest ached from the pain and fear of being tortured again. My eyelids felt heavy and my head was like a musical drum that was being hit aggressively. I shouldn't have been sleeping, they were going to torture me again.I used all my strength. I had to sit upright. I clutched my body together. The first footsteps I heard scared the living daylight out of me. I looked over my shoulder but there was no one, it was just my imagination. I walked up to the highly decorated cabinet to take out the plate. I lifted a toe up to get three plates and a fork. I moved to the table before setting them up.
