Chapter 20: His Change of Heart

So this is what it's like to be kissed.

I didn't know how to kiss him back, but he held onto my chin and pried my mouth slightly open.

He dove his tongue into my mouth, causing me to let out a moan of surprise. I lightly pushed him away and felt my cheeks redden in embarrassment.

"Is there something wrong?" he asked in a wary voice.

I shook my head and bit my lip. "I don't know how to," I said in a soft voice.

He chuckled and caressed my hair. "Let me teach you, then."

"Part your lips," he whispered, his hot breath brushing over my lips. I wondered how close we were at the moment, and the mere thought made my heart beat faster in my chest.

I was wondering if he could hear the beat of my heart with how loud and fast it was beating.

"That's right," he complimented.
