The silence is deafening as I wait for Silas to respond back to me. He said that he's always been in love with me, surely that won’t ever change… right?
He loves me, he must love me. I feel tears prickle in my eyes, threatening to pour down my face as I wait for his response. I begin to question why I put myself out here like this and suddenly he grabs my face and presses his lips against mine.
I gasp and, in that moment, he takes the opportunity to be able to slip his tongue into my mouth and once I'm over the shock of what's happening, I kiss him back with as much desire and passion that he seems to have for me.
