My stomach is in knots as we get into the boat.
Jude seems anxious as he didn’t want to chat when we got back he just told us it was time to go and rushed into the water so he could shift.
Silas helps get me situated in the boat and he puts his arm around me and says, “It was nice getting to see your mom.”
I nod, he’s right it was. But my mind is racing and I want to contact Kai and make sure that he’s okay, but I have no way to get in contact with him.Silas breathes out and says, “I’m sure everything is fine, Lux.”
