Chapter 52 | Unstable

It’s been almost two weeks since Lux left. Everything and everyone seemed different without her. For me, the whole place just seemed duller without her. She always brought the light into the room and without her, the whole place just seems lifeless. Kai seemed lost without his sister. I was eager to get to the Dark Moon Pack. David avoided everyone except for Charlotte. Iris and Calvin were in perfect bliss with one another, and Amber just seemed lost.
It’s hard not to hurry Amber, but I know she wanted to come here for a reason, so I’m trying hard to respect that. But everywhere I look, I am reminded of Lux or Charlotte and constantly being haunted by my only love and my rejected mate is taking a toll on my mind.
Amber wanted to be around Iris and Calvin, but she got depressed after being around them too much. Calvin has hung out with me a bit to give the sisters time to be with one another. B
