Elly

“There’s nothing to tell. Just another curse from those assholes. It’s not like you care about witch business.” Amber pushed the moon close to the lock so she could get a better view.

“Do you think you can maintain a spell?” Elly’s heart raced at the question.

“Uuuuh…” was all she could manage. If they had to rely on her ability to do magic they were in big trouble.

“Here.” Amber shoved the little moon into Elly’s hand and positioned it to shine directly where she needed it. “I’m going to cut it off from my energy. Just feed your own to it. Not a lot. Just enough to keep it lit. You know how to do that right?” Elly nodded and tried to swallow but her mouth was dry. The light flickered and started to go out but Elly could feel it tug at her. It was similar to when Darren stole energy from her. Unlike with him, she lowered her guard and even pushed some energy at it. The dim light flickered a little before blazing to life. For a second it resembled the sun more than the moon. T
