Chapter 70
Whitney SavageHello again everyone. I'm sorry for my long absence. For over a year, my mother has had a battle with cancer that we thought she was winning. I am devastated to say that she finally lost it. My heart has been broken and my will to do just about anything pretty much left with her. But grieving is a process. It's not getting better but some days I can breathe again. If I can breathe I can write. I'm not making any promises about consistency on posting but I am determined to finish this story. My mom was so happy I was finally letting people read my writing. I really wish I let her read more of my stories. I can't undo that. I just wanted to be transparent about my absence and the future of this story. Thank you all for your support.

Rebekah The ride home was long and quiet. Rebekah silenced the conversation for the time being. With all the new information, she needed time to think.
