This chapter is shorter than normal chapters, but still I hope you enjoyed it. The next chapter would be a bonus chapter. IT IS NOT COMPULSORY! For those of you who do not enjoy the extra chapters, please do wait till I update another chapter after it. The bonus chapters are meant to tell us more about the characters, like a sort of comic relief. Also, thanks so much for reading this book. THIS IS NOT A COMPULSORY CHAPTER!!! _________________________________________ Audience: *claps* Naomi: Welcome back everyone, to another special Episode of "The Blood King's Bride" special chapters. We have gone a long way in this story, and I wish you would still be with me by the end of the journey. As usual, we are going to be interviewing some of our characters, but before that, let's give a recap of our last interview. (Recap) Wazir: *smiles widely* Hello everyone. I am Wazir Neba, the prince of the Neba kingdom. I work at the Red Queen's restaurant, and was hired by chance, you could say. I also work as a general in the king's army. My sister married the douche king of Pres, and ended up paying her life for it. Yes, I am a seer. A minor one, but still very powerful if I may add. I see visions of the future, glimpses of things that are likely to happen. (Recap) Darukï: My name is Darukï. I am a warrior. Svetl
The kingdom of Neba... The King's Palace. Wazir ran down the stairs and headed straight for his father's study. After his dream, he wasn't sure he would be able to sleep well again. His mother's maids in front of his room ran after him, begging him to calm down and stop running since he was just recovering. He paid them no heed, running as fast as he could towards his father's study. Once he arrived, he didn't bother knocking and barged inside. His father stood by his window, looking at the outer palace fields where the soldiers trained. He quickly turned his head around at the sudden intrusion, annoyance masking his expression. "What in the heavens is going on here?" He asked, looking at Wazir and the maids who had run after him. The maids bowed to the king, and Wazir looked at his father, hoping his expression told him of the importance of his visit. "Leave us." The king commanded the maids. They left the study still, bowing their heads, and quietly shut th
The Kingdom of Pres. The King's Castle... Svetlana reached the palace's outer wall and headed straight for the meeting point of her and the spy the king of Neba had sent to aid her. Svetlana knew with a look at the spy that he was someone she shouldn't joke with; something was deceiving about how he carried himself. Their meeting place was in a house very close to the forest that led to the border between Pres and Neba. It was an ordinary-looking house, one that wouldn't garner much attention. It wasn't easy to get that house, especially with the Allikans roaming the streets. But the king of Neba surprised her by pulling strings, and she was able to get the house with no problem. She arrived at the house, then studied the environment. When she was sure that no one had come there, she entered. The house was bare, relatively empty. There was nothing aside from the small table in the middle of the room with two chairs by its side. Svetlana hadn't made time to check
Svetlana stood still, watching as her uncle held out the child, his face slowly folding in annoyance. "Take the child, quick!". This time, he didn't wait for her and shoved the little girl into her arms, then walked right out the same way he had come. Svetlana studied the girl. She was at crossroads now. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to go find her father, but she couldn't leave the girl here alone. She was too little, and she doubted that her uncle would have time for her. She considered taking her along her journey, but that would be suicide. The being had a plan set out for the little girl. Taking her along for her trip, especially when she knew that she wouldn't be coming back, would make problems worse for her. She didn't want to mess with the being. She could barely defend herself from her uncle, what's more, the being who gave her uncle power. With a deep sigh, she held on tightly to the girl and walked inside, silently praying to her father for forgivene
There was something wrong about where she was, Elena thought. Yes, she was in the same cage that she had been tossed into, but it felt different, somehow. The air was there, but she couldn't feel it, though she could breathe. The cage felt larger than it had been when she first entered, and her friends seemed farther away than the proximity they had always shared since their kidnap. She wondered if what she was seeing was another effect of their drug. She looked around her cage and couldn't notice any difference, except it looked bigger and broader. "Elena," a voice called her name. She looked around, first to her friends, to see if they were the ones calling her. Her friends were asleep. She looked behind her, trying to see if anyone was with them. "Elena," the same voice called out. "Who is there?" Everywhere became silent at first, before a mist slowly appeared and took form and shape in front of her. A woman came out of the mist. She wore a black flowing gown
The Blood Kingdom was not as Elena imagined. As their warrior guide, who introduced himself as Aaron, drove them through the city, he walked them through the places they had passed. The place where they were found was called the border market. Most citizens of the blood kingdom do not like associating with outsiders, but the ones who can manage it go out to other Kingdoms to buy goods. No matter how big the blood kingdom was, there were still some things they needed and couldn't be found in their kingdom. The kingdom was an Ice wonderland. They continued their remaining journey through the market, and Elena's gaze tore through every area of it. Some children ran happily about, with their mothers loudly scolding them. Some of them were young maidens, with the way they swung their hips, a basket placed at their side, and walked proudly as men whistled to them. The buildings were architectural marvels, a blend between cement and ice. They were built together to form homes t
Elena and Elion made their way out of their shared room. Elion knocked at Forest's door, and when he didn't answer for some time, they surmised that he was sleeping. Forest slept like the dead whenever he was tired. They decided to find something to eat and perhaps remain some for Forest. As they made their way downstairs, they passed some people who came from the upper floor, and we're heading downstairs, and some who came from downstairs, and we're heading upstairs. The environment was gay. Everyone was happy. Especially those who were taken out of their homeland don't look like they would trade anything to go back. They reached the reception hall, and Elena asked the female who sat there where they could find some food. Elion's eyes were taking in their surrounding. Either she was looking for something suspicious or admiring its beauty. Elena thought it was both. Since they had come here, they had both taken their bath and rested. Well, Elena did. She was so stressed out
The Blood Kingdom... Days had passed, and Elena, Elion, and Forest had finally made the shelter house a bit comfortable for themselves. They had made some friends and had even spoken with some of the blood kingdom citizens. Even though the people looked at them wearily, they were still lovely when dealing with them. Elena's heart, though, wasn't in all the peace. After her discussion with Forest about her dream, she knew that whatever she was linked with was associated with her revenge. Her goal to be even more decisive grew more within her, the urge to practice boiling. They were all on the lawn, taking in the environment. Elena was thinking of telling Elion to practice with her when she heard the sound of a horse galloping towards them. She looked up and saw Aaron atop the horse, and immediately she thought of asking him to train her. "Hey Elion," she called. "I know you don't like Aaron but we can at least use him for our goal, right?" Elion glanced at her dri
