The next day I am awakened early by border portal. I rush out the door and head to their location. Something about two she-wolves in distress, seeking sanctuary. When I arrive I am shocked at the two girls appearance. They have refused to shift, but even in their wolf forms I can tell they very thin like they have been starved. I order my men to back up and give them space.

“Grab me some tee-shirts for them.”

“Yes, Alpha.”

“We are not going to hurt you. Please shift so I can speak with you.”

I can see the girls hesitate as one of them begins to shift while the other whimpers at her. I toss the blonde the tee shirt for her to put on.

“Please don’t send us back, we'd rather you kill us than send us back.”

“Back to where?”

“Red Moon.”

“Were you two slaves?”

“Yes Alpha.”

The poor girl has tears in eyes and such fear. She is taking in her surroundings and I can tell she is preparing to book it if necessary.
