Chp 20 Pt. 3 Haley’s Sacrifice

I wake to find I am sleeping in my room and and the twins are no where in sight. I begin to panic but Dr. Sully pushes me to lay down.

“Easy Alpha. You are mentally exhausted and have been out for two days. You’ve been through a lot.”

“Where are my pups.”

“They’re in the nursery Alpha. They are okay, your brother and his mate are looking after them. I did a check up on them and they are both growing just fine.”

“I need to be there for them. Haley…. I promised Haley I would be there for them.”

“Alpha. Shutting yourself in the nursery with them is not being there for them. I don’t think that is what Luna would want.”

I run my hands through my hair and notice the letter on the night stand. I still haven’t opened it.

“I’d suggest you read that Avery. She had something to tell you, you should listen.&rdquo
