Haley
“Watch over them Avery. Live for me, live for them.”
A tear falls as I know this is what will break the curse. The selflessness of sacrificing my life for my mates, something no other blood red wolf has done. I may never see my children again but at least I know this will save her future. I kiss Avery’s forehead before placing my lips on his.
“Haley stop!”
I can hear Mason getting closer, but I know he is too late. I can feel my life slipping from me into Avery. I can feel him getting warmer as I get colder. Mason reaches me just as I hear Avery’s heart beat. I gladly let the darkness consume me as Avery’s eyes flutter open.

Haley “Haley you are going to be late for school!” “I’m coming mom!” I slept through my alarm again. If I make mom late to work because she has to drop me off I’ll be grounded for sure.
