“Harrison what is wrong? I can feel Haley is frightened.”

“I think she had a nightmare Alpha. She asked me to remove a chair from her room.”

“She didn’t say what is wrong?”

“No. She didn’t realize it, but she used her Luna tone letting us know it wasn’t up for discussion.”

“Okay. If anything else happens wake me.”

I look out my window towards the cottage and see her lamp is on. I can feel that she is still scared. Under the mask she wears is all her fear and at the head of that fear is Alpha Jake. I sneak out my window and quietly reach her balcony. I can see she is holding a picture frame and crying.

“I’m sorry I didn’t make it to the witch on time. I miss you both, I promise to keep our secret.”

“That must be a picture of her parents,” says Spartan.

“I wonder who this witch is though. We don’t typically associate with witches or warlocks and what is this secret?”
