“Darcy sweetheart, it’s rare of you to come and visit us even though this time it was because of Rachael. How brave of you to bring her back single-handedly! I can’t thank you enough for your kindness. But you could have called for some help dear...” Mrs Harris smiled warmly as she walked inside and hugged her tightly.

Darcy felt awkward but at the same time, her heart felt warm with her small gesture as it had been a while since she had been hugged so affectionally. And it felt so nice it reminded her of her mother. She was so warm and cuddly.

She smiled as Mrs. Harris released her and said. “I happen to be around so it was the right thing to do and I couldn’t have rushed to seek help or she might have slipped and I had forgotten my phone at home as I had gone for a quick round of the estate.
