CHAPTER FORTY-FOUR

After Alan gave Ashley the news of them returning to New York tomorrow and after she had wailed in her misery, she packed her bags and headed to the shopping mall to get gifts for everyone.

She felt it wouldn't be proper to return empty-handed. So she headed to the mall to get a few things.

“Where are you coming from?” Alan asked the moment she walked in, his eyes stuck on his phone.

“I went to the shopping mall to get a few things, I got you this,” Ashley said passing a small gift bag to him.

Staring at her in a confused manner “I didn't ask you to get me anything” He said and returned his face to his phone.

“You didn't ask but I decided to, take it my hand is hanging,” She said flaunting it in his face. Giving her a final stare he collected the gift muttering a thank you.

She got him a perfume that was scented like him. Woody and musky chocolate scent and also a fountain pen.
