CHAPTER FORTY-TWO.

“Ashley, Ashley wake up” Alan tapped her softly while Ashley stirred continuously trying to figure out if she had been called in her dream or reality.

“Ashley, we would be late if you don't wake up,” Alan said softly with a tinge of warning in his voice.

Yawning, she opened her eyes slowly “You are dressed, are you going somewhere?” She asked Alan who was dressed in a bright-colored shirt and lightweight beach shorts.

“We are going somewhere, come on, you need to get dressed,” He said, stretching his towards her and guiding her out of the bed. He gave her a gift bag and told her to change into it.

“How do I look?” She asked excitedly, she was wearing blue marble print crinkle textured layer wide leg beach pants. The blue in her outfit was almost the same as the color of her eyes. She left her hair cascading down her shoulders.

“Ohh well, perfect just the way I expected, I chose the outfit after all,” Alan said with a proud smile while Ashley giggled.
