CHAPTER SEVENTY-ONE

“Did you drop the letter with my mom?” Ashley asked Drea over the phone.

“Yes I did,” She replied.

“What was her reaction?” She probed

“Ash, I didn't wait for her reaction. I couldn't stand the look of your mother when she read the letter” Drea groaned.

“Mmm”

“How was your trip?” Drea tried to change the topic.

“It was a good one and this place is nice” Ashley replied.

“Okay, Alan was at my place” She informed her.

“It was expected, what did he say?”

“He asked where you were, I obviously didn't tell him but he looked kind of miserable,” Drea added.

“Okay,” Ashley breathed.

“You are not bothered?”

“Why would I be? He has hurt me beyond measure. I only want to give birth to my baby safe and sound” Ashley replied with a frown on her face.

“You should do that”

“I need my Identity back, please speak to Sean as soon as possible,” She said, pacing around the room.

“I will baby, please take care of yourself, and don't forget to have fun. Bye,” Drea chirped and ended the call.
