CHAPTER SIXTY-SEVEN

“Ohh I..I was less busy so I thought to arrange my old stuff, it was quite dusty because I had left them for a long time” She hurriedly replied, Alan holding her gaze for quite a long time.

“Mmm, you are putting yourself to good use. I am hungry, make me lasagna, don't add too much chili” Alan instructed, handing the kitchen keys to her.

“Okay, I will change my clothes then”

Ashley proceeded to make Alan’s meal when she was done she set the tables and went to call him.

“Sit and join me” Alan invited her, making her sit opposite him.

Dishing her food, she ate from it silently and when she was done, she did the dishes, returned the key, and headed to her room.

Slumping on the bed “All of a sudden, I became a liar and a thinker” She chuckled.

“This is crazy, but I will be out of here soon that is what matters the most, I can't keep up”

“I hope Mom takes this well” She mumbled, turning to the other direction and sleeping off.
