"Just stay here," His words caught my attention, making my head turned as my gaze landed on him.
I chose to keep my mouth shut and be engulfed by silence.
"I will protect you and I won't fail this time. I promise."
His eyes were firm. He was looking at me with no signs of hesitation but my chest was still the same after all the thing I've been through.
Everything felt numb.
I was betrayed several times I do not know who to trust now. I was ruined by each of them and now I am not certain if I can see myself forgiving them for what they have done.
