Chapter 42: Crashed Dreams

Victor stared at the door for a few minutes until he realized how wrong he was for telling those things to Sarah. She misunderstood him completely because he was so full of jealousy and couldn't express himself correctly.

He didn't even want to tell her about it in the first place. He had promised himself not to mention that until the case was closed and he had found the real culprit. He never doubted her for a second, but seeing her with that man made his primitive and irrational thoughts burst out.

It was true he didn't trust the man, he didn't even know him. As far as he was concerned, anyone could be behind the kidnapping.
