Donovan wasn’t sure if he should tell Iris what he had done.

He knew she wouldn’t be thrilled about him going to Emile’s office and threatening him, but he couldn’t help himself. Though he knew exactly what he was getting into when he started dating Iris, he had underestimated how hard it would be to see her be in love with another man.

“You okay?” Iris broke him out of his thoughts.

“Um, I have to tell you something.”

“Sounds serious.”

“It is. I um…I know about Emile.”

“What do you know about him?” Iris questioned.

“That you’re also sleeping with him.” Donovan stated.

“Okay.”

“Okay? That's all you have to say?”

“Well it’s true, so what do you want me to say?”

“That you’ll stop.”

“But that would be a lie, babe.” Iris stated. “I don’t lie about things like that.”

“And I’m supposed to be okay knowing that you’re also fucking a married man?” Donovan demanded.
