Chapter 45~ Disappointed

Claire's phone chimed again... the sound making her skin crawl.

It had only been a few minutes since she received a threatening message and now, the sound of the notification made her heart pound violently as dread filled her stomach. What could they have sent again?

Her worst nightmare was receiving a picture of her daughter all tied up and bloody... luckily, the kidnappers were yet to hurt her and that made Claire want to find her faster before they did something to her.

With trembling hands, she unlocked her phone and read through the message. Her stomach plummeted at what she read, sinking to the depths of her feet. It was another threat from the kidnapper.
