Victoria POV
"I want to stay" I whisper, looking into Dominik's eyes.
"Good girl..." Dominik answers me with a smile on his face.
Pulling me closer, he again kisses my lips, bringing our faces together. I don't think either of us can or want to wait much longer, so Dominik impatiently unbuttons my pants and taking them from my hips, begins to pull them down along with my underwear. Caressing his back and shoulders, I bring my hands to his chest, where I carefully start to remove his suit jacket, and undo the buttons of his shirt, being able to touch with my fingers the skin of his chest, so muscular and well-shaped... I love listening to Dominik.
Breaking the kiss, finally removing my pants, Dominik whispers against my lips, "Victoria..."
Rising off my body and without warning, Dominik grabs my hips and rolls me over on the bed, leaving me on his abdomen as he makes me laugh. Dominik is very muscular and very strong, so he can arrange my bed any wa
Dominik POVSighing, I finished putting on that white t-shirt, which matched my somewhat dark-colored pants. I know it's kind of a relaxed outfit, but since we're going to a high society event with casual etiquette, I guess it's the right attire. Finishing dressing as well, putting on those blue sandals to match her dress, Victoria walks over to me smiling."What do you think?" she asks me, turning to let me see her pretty dress. She was wearing a thin and light dress, the kind we used to wear on the island, with soft and light fabrics as it is the outfit she chose for this specific meeting. Smiling at the sight of her, I reply, "You look beautiful, as always.""But do you think it's appropriate? I don't want to make a bad impression with your associates..." Victoria replies to me, noticing herself somewhat nervous."You won't make a bad impression, you look wonderful, as always baby."Moving closer to her, I give her a hug around the waist,
Dominik POVSmiling softly, I stand by Victoria's side, holding her hand gently, as I let her speak. While she, very loosely, talks in a friendly and very interesting way with another of the investors, a young man who was interested in the robotic advances that my company could make, although I honestly would never be interested in it, as it seems to me too risky an investment in an area that we do not master and that could end catastrophically."... And that's the future, medical nanotechnology is the future of the market and of the country," Said the animated investor, speaking at length with Victoria.Even though I'm sure Victoria didn't understand much of what that man wanted to tell her, she still smiles and nods her head, as she takes some more of her drink and then replies, "According to what you've told me, it's a technological breakthrough, which can be beneficial to many people...""It is!" Says the animated investor, "You should think about inv
Victoria POVTake a deep breath and not let her nonsense get to me. That's what I had set out to do from the first moment I arrived at this party and met Dominik's mother, focus on my business and not let her get me out of control. I am not here to befriend or treat Dominik's mother well, I think I am past the resignation stage of knowing that this woman is not going to like me no matter what I do, so I am here with a clear intention, and that is something that she cannot take away from me or that I must stop her from taking away from me. I am here for and for the company that rightfully belongs to me.And so even though I'm scared, sitting next to her in a cramped place like this around the people who can define my destiny in the company and in my life in general, with a woman who hates me as much as Dominik's mother here, I'm focused on making things right and not letting her intimidate me. I'm going to be the one walking out of this meeting smiling, not her.
Victoria POV"Where's my car?" Dominik's mother says in a loud, demanding tone. She stops at the entrance of the cottage, next to a frightened and very unfortunate employee of place, that nasty woman is loudly demanding that they bring her car as soon as possible, while the employee apologizes over and over again for the delay and for not being able to give her her car as fast as she demanded. Just the sight of her makes me sick. Finally approaching her, trying to deal with her temper and clinging to whatever patience I have, I smile and look at my mother-in-law, saying, "Mrs. Meyer."Hearing my voice, she sounds incredibly frustrated, and distracting her attention from the clerk to see me, she asks, "What are you doing here? I don't want you here, leave now.""Please Mrs. Meyer, reconsider your decision to leave, you haven't eaten anything from the buffet before you even leave...""And why stay, to watch you draw the attention of the other
Dominik POVWith a sigh, I finish arranging the meeting papers, making sure I have with me all the things I need to talk to my main investors and employees today. The meeting we have set up for today is in an hour or even a little more, however as the head of the company, I usually arrive earlier than the rest to the place, as I was supposed to receive the people who would have to come to the meeting to talk to me, and I like to be punctual with that kind of thing.Several days had passed since the lunch we had with the investors in the company of Victoria, and after having received such a good impression from my beloved Victoria, the investors did not refuse my sister's request to have another meeting altogether to discuss the issue of the company's division. Many of the investors were still not convinced that it was a good idea to split the company, worried about losing their investment in the company because of a bad move. But most of them had already met Vic
Victory POVWith a sigh, I watch as Dominik's car pulls up in front of the company building, marking my impending destination."Good luck in there, Miss Victoria" Dominik's friendly driver, who had driven me here, says to me.Smiling somewhat nervously, I reply, "Thank you."I don't know if I'll do well or if on the contrary, it's going to be a complete disaster, but it's too late to back out now, so taking a deep breath trying to calm down, I get out of Dominik's car and enter the building.I think it has all happened too fast now, as it seems like only yesterday when I was as nervous as I am now about going to lunch with Dominik's investors, but it has been over a week, and now I am going to an important meeting that is going to define my future and the future of those I love. This meeting is extremely important, and I have to be focused and calm so I don't screw everything up.Entering the building, just as Dominik had explained to me on
Victoria POVMy palms are sweating, no, actually I'm sweating all over. Standing at the front of that room, next to Aneliss, looking sideways at all those serious investors who look so scary. I don't think I've ever been in such a scary situation in my life, and I hope I won't be in a situation like this again."Good morning, sorry for the delay, but my brother is going through a delicate personal situation right now, so he will be joining us very soon" Greets Aneliss, who is at the front of the table with all the investors around.Snorting with annoyance, one of the investors says, "And what is your brother's boy doing? Does he like to keep us waiting? Without him, the meeting makes no sense at all!"After that man spoke, the other investors start talking among themselves in annoyance, not at all happy to see that Aneliss is taking her brother's place in the meeting. But she manages to remain calm, and clearing her throat says, "Gentlemen, please, this i
Dominik POVThis can't be happening, it really can't be happening. Desperately, I try calling the elevator over and over again, pressing the button that calls the elevators to this floor, but to no avail. What the fuck is going on? Unable to believe that all of this has actually been planned by my ridiculous mother, I am left pacing back and forth in my office and in the hallways outside my office as time continues to pass. This can't be happening, I refuse to think that this damn stupidity is real, because right now... Right now I... I should be with Victoria, damn it, I have to get out of here to go to Victoria! However, it is already too late, as by the time-stamped by the wall clocks in my office, which fortunately has not been affected by the loss of power throughout this floor, I realize that many more minutes have passed than I would expect, and that probably at this very hour, the meeting would have already started, with me or without me, as investors di
