Sighing, I finished putting on that white t-shirt, which matched my somewhat dark-colored pants. I know it's kind of a relaxed outfit, but since we're going to a high society event with casual etiquette, I guess it's the right attire. Finishing dressing as well, putting on those blue sandals to match her dress, Victoria walks over to me smiling.
"What do you think?" she asks me, turning to let me see her pretty dress.
She was wearing a thin and light dress, the kind we used to wear on the island, with soft and light fabrics as it is the outfit she chose for this specific meeting. Smiling at the sight of her, I reply, "You look beautiful, as always."
"But do you think it's appropriate? I don't want to make a bad impression with your associates..." Victoria replies to me, noticing herself somewhat nervous.
"You won't make a bad impression, you look wonderful, as always baby."

Victoria POVTake a deep breath and not let her nonsense get to me. That's what I had set out to do from the first moment I arrived at this party and met Dominik's mother, focus on my business and not let her get me out of control.
