Chapter Thirteen

Luna’s POV

Roman and I spent the afternoon together in my room. We spoke about many things over lunch, including family, work and interests. I never went into detail about my relationship with Ethan as that part of my life is in the past now and I would prefer to keep it that way. I did explain that I had just came out of a relationship and was concentrating on myself. I just hope Carrie didn’t mention it to Roman last night when they spoke.

Roman spoke fondly of his family. He spoke about his childhood and his relationship with his sister, Jenny and his cousins Santos and Vincenzo. Vincenzo is Santos’ brother, the four of them are extremely close. Roman told me I would meet Vincenzo tonight.

I was woken by someone calling my name “Luna, Luna.. it’s time to wake up moon”.

I opened my eyes to see Roman lying beside me, resting on his elbow and stroking my hair behind my ear. He gave me the sweetest smile and kissed my head.
