Derrick’s point of view

We left and I was hoping for the result to come out soon.

Mia looked so angry, we actually didn’t say a word till we got to a particular area.

“Drop me here, I'll be fine.” She uttered, looking outside the window.

“Why? I'll drop you at home”

“Please, Derrick, I need fresh air, I'll call the guards to come to pick me up later.” she wasn't in a good mood and I didn't want any arguments as to why she wanted to come down here.

“Alright, if that's what you want.” I said and pulled over. I dropped her off and drove away.

What if she is really carrying my child or did I go too hard on her? Mia makes it hard to believe.

I went straight to the office.

Lee came into my office shortly.

We had a meeting with a company. I was not so ready yet, so many things on my mind.
