Zora’s point of view

It's been three months since Derrick got divorced, we were kind of close now but he still doesn't know anything about Ana.

I was in my office, going through a file when Sophia rushed into my office with the head of the financial unit

“What's wrong?” I couldn't even tell what was wrong with Sophia.

“The money, all the money in the company's account is gone.” She forced herself to speak up.

“What!!” I think I misheard what she said, my body was trembling, and I rushed to my laptop to see it for myself.

The three zeroes were bold, no single penny was left there in the account.

I sat on my chair forcefully.

“How did this happen?” I asked Sophia, hoping whatever I was seeing was not true and I was just dreaming. I should wake up from this silly dream, I pinched myself so hard.

“Mrs Zora, there is no description, everything there is just blank.” Mr Wellman, the head of the financial unit said.
