Chapter 51

Zora’s point of view

He left the kitchen and a few minutes later he came out with a tray of food, he placed it in front of me.

Smiles round my face I watched him walk in my direction. “This looks so mouth-watering,” I said as he dropped the tray on the dining table.

“I hope you enjoy it.” He smiled and sat opposite me.

“Mmm.” I raised my eyebrows as I tasted the waffles he prepared and it was so nice!

I turned and looked at his smiling face. “I didn’t know you’re good at this.” I took a bite of the bacon and. “No, for breakfast you’ll be handling it till we leave.” I joked and he laughed. “this is so good!” I complimented his cooking.

“I am glad you like it.” He said as he also took a bite of the waffles.

We were done with breakfast.

Derrick was on a call with the cops and after the call, he sent the address of Mia’s house and planned on meeting there.
