Chapter 61

Liam smiles at Temisa as he chats with her on the couch because she is a laid-back person who does not make him feel uncomfortable or uneasy, unlike when he is with his secretary.

Liam has no feelings of lust for Temisa and prefers to talk to her as if she were his sister. His mother approaches them and grins as she enters the upstairs sitting room.

"I see you both are getting along, Liam; then we won't waste any time going to see her parents and people," Mrs. Juliet says. Liam smiles at his mother's words and listens to her speech.

Anything that makes his mother happy also warms his heart, which he enjoys.

"My daughter, you're blessed, okay?"

"Thank you, ma," Temisa says, kneeling down before his mother as Mrs. Juliet prays for her.

His mother finally excuses them, and Liam stands up to show Temisa around their lovely estate. She walks with him, and he shows her his two-in-one huge bedroom, which serves as both his private parlor and sleeping area.
