Chapter 11 ~ Lunch and Trips

“What are you doing here?” Kiana asked with a frown on her face. Angela smiled her usual fake smile and stepped in while keeping her eyes locked between the two.

Before Angela could even respond, Annabel walked in causing Kiana to frown as she took in the turn of events. ‘What is this now?’

“Mum, what are you doing here?” Daniel asked as he watched his mother’s face stretch into a cunning smile as she whipped her head and looked at Kiana.

“I wanted to speak to my daughter-in-law.” She said flatly making Kiana half laugh at the desperate attempt. ‘So desperate to take my mother’s company I see.’
