Chapter 18 ~ Pleasure and regret

“What problem?” Kiana asked with a heavy breath.

“Open the door so you can see it,” Arthur responded calmly.

‘How did he get back here so fast?’ Kiana wondered as she fidgeted with her hands wondering if what she did was a good idea but the ache between her legs reminded her what her intention was.

Kiana breathed out as she walked to the door and twisted the knob slowly. Hazel eyes met her brown ones as they stared at each other while Kiana was still holding onto the door knob blocking Arthur from walking in.

As if she would even stand a chance if he stepped closer to her or attempted to walk in.

“I received your text,” Arthur spoke in a husky voice as he stared at her with lust-filled eyes. Kiana’s center throbbed as Arthur stepped even closer to her.

‘What was I thinking? I don’t even know if the man still hates my guts and wants to have his revenge by making me fall for him and then he leaves me bleeding. How else can I explain his roller coaster moves?’

“Well?” Arthur teased
