Chapter 37 ~ Mary Van Chile

Kiana woke up the next morning and stared at her suitcase in awe. ‘How the hell did he manage to pack my things?’ she wondered as she picked up her daily journal.

The realization was soon replaced with horror, ‘Oh my God! Did he read it?’ Kiana’s face turned a beat red at the thought. She was still angry at him but a part of her couldn’t help but wonder if she was acting ungrateful.

‘Maybe he has his reasons!’ A little voice whispered but she shut it down.

Kiana walked to her desk to check on the vents she had recorded from her past life. ‘I need to make this trip worth it.’ She breathed as she pulled out a sticker and began writing her bucket list.

She didn’t know how long she would be in New York but if the same happened like it did in her past life, it would mean five days.
