32. First Full Moon

Daisy had been super excited all day, causing her to be tired from the sheer will of keeping her contained. Elder Gordon had showed up not long after Emily had the previous day and Wade had shown Emily around. He was so gentle with her it was adorable to see.
She’d also noticed that Emily’s scent had changed to something similar to Wade’s. Even Dale had mentioned her change in scent with a frown of confusion, personally she thought it was because she was using her toiletries to shower and wash her hair.
But Elder Gordon was very focused on his classes today, Charlie sitting in on her classes while he read, occasionally adding some information to what Elder Gordon told her, if he thought she needed to know. It was much more informative and much less grooming to be a Stepford; something she was beyond grateful for.

Gemma She was ashamed to admit that she found herself sleeping in Dale’s bed again. It was like her first shift had strengthened Daisy, or emboldened her, she wasn’t sure which. But she closed her eyes to rest them in the middle of the night and when she opened them again, she was well rested and lying in Dale’s bed. Gemma After breakfast, Charlie showed Alpha Gregory and Alpha Winston into the parlor. They had agreed to draw in the neighboring packs to assist with housing, since the tournament had invitations had blown up and they didn’t have enough space to house all the visitors. She chose the parlor, since she didn’t like the formality of the alpha’s office, which didn’t feel comfortable to her at all. The council of Elders had completely disregarded her opinions and bulldozed her protests to insist on their decisions being done without hesitation; she couldn’t imagine this going any better.
