“What are you doing here? What did you do with him?" Monica screamed at William, wanting to strike him in the face as she cast a spiteful glance at him. She had a high hunch that William might have threatened Ethen.

'How dare he show up here?! She is not interested in keeping up the absurd agreement she has with him.' Thinking, she approached Ethen with a blaze in her eyes. She would not put up with him being rambunctious around her friend.

“A bullet will strike his hand the moment your hand makes contact with him."

William gave a menacing snarl.

"If you believe my words are spurious, please feel free to try!" The hand that had stretched out to touch Ethen halted in midair, fingers clenching into fists as she stepped away from Ethen, feeling the gravity in William's words.

“How can I think your words are meaningless since you are capable of doing whatever you want depending on your power, but let me tell you that you cannot control me and that I do not want to be with you?"
