“Baron, William's assistant? Why would he plot against you?" Henry responded with a puzzled expression, his frown deepening. As soon as he awoke, there was a cyclone of confusion in front of him and his brain couldn't comprehend Katherine's remarks.

“Katherine, please stop. I am starting to think you approach this room with a purpose, but you're unaware that this isn't William who is staying there. Am I correct?"

Henry did not waste time wondering why this had occurred; he dealt with the matter immediately.

“Put an end to it! No, I did not! You are the one who trapped me in a plan; I had nothing to do with it," Katherine screamed in wrath when Henry grabbed hold of the thread, which Katherine purposefully chose to overlook.

“Did you not?" Henry dismissed Katherine's outburst.

"Were you abducted or were you brought here against your will?"

Henry inquired carefully, staring into Katherine's eyes, which were filled with regretful sorrow, the cause for which was clear to him.
