Chapter 21 Your sight disgust me

"Did you kidnap your sister?" Aiden's sudden question jolted Emine, leaving her completely taken aback. Why would he ask such a thing out of the blue? Confusion clouded her mind, leaving her utterly bewildered.

"I want to know everything. Tell me all that I need to know," Aiden eagerly pressed for answers.

"Why are you asking now? After five long years, why is this suddenly on your mind?" Emine's fists clenched beneath the table, although her eyes remained devoid of any emotion.

"Can you just answer the question?" Aiden's patience was rapidly waning.

Emine couldn't help but relish the sight of impatience etched on his face. She couldn't explain why, but seeing Aiden in distress gave her a strange sense of satisfaction.
