Chapter 34 - the Axis of Contempt

Cold drops of water were sliding down the sweaty glass of whisky inside. The ice cubes had not melted yet, despite the heat pouring from the sky. Patrick was spinning the glass with his right hand looking at the girls having fun by the fountain. They were dressed in a tempting way but one stood out from the rest. It was Melany, with black hair and red lipstick on her lips. At first, she didn’t notice his look, but it didn’t take long before she realised someone was watching her.
