Chapter 120: All Hers

“What did you say?” she asked him.

“I said, I know you will never harm me.” His lips touched hers briefly and he continues, “I know you won’t kill me for my throne.”

Her eyes nearly popped out when he said that. Of course she wouldn’t. She was never interested in his kingdom. She loved his land, but not enough to slaughter him for it.

“Trust me, there is a lot of people out there who wants to kill me.”

She shook her head in confusion as to why anyone would try to dethrone him. He’s a good king. An honorable man. A great leader who stood by his pack. So why would anyone want to sabotage him over any other weakling wolf.

“Agatha, I know you. I know you will never hurt me, or my people. You won’t lay waste to my land. You won’t take what’s not yours. That is how much I trust you, and that much I know of you.”

Tears formed in her eyes. She was glad he understood her. She felt proud of herself as she made the right choice. The Moon Goddess didn’t fail her. She had found her a worthy mate.
