Chapter 39: Snow

The next following morning Austin woke up to a loud commotion outside of Agatha’s room. He fell around for her trying to wake her up.

“Agatha. Agatha,” he said. But there was no answer. Rubbing his eyes, he looked to where she slept. Her place was cold, and he didn’t feel her anywhere.

Agatha was already gone.

“What?” he whispers. He looked around again to make sure he didn’t miss anything. But truly she wasn’t in the room anymore.

“Odd,” thought Austin. How is it that she’s so quiet that he doesn’t hear her. He have a keen sense of hearing and smell, but Agatha is quite mysterious as he didn’t even hear her getting up this morning at all.

From the way the bed feel she’s been gone for a while. “Where have she gone this early in the morning,” he thought.

“King Austin,” said Grump.

“What is it?” asked Austin. He was finishing putting on his clothes.

“There’s been an avalanche.”

“Oh.” Austin walked out of Agatha’s room and said, “Give me the story.”
