Chapter 40: Blue Moon Pack in Danger
Riona POV
"Riona, wake up. We're here!"
I was awakened by Baron's tap and the sound of the stream at night. Plus the cold blow of the wind when he opened the car door. I squinted my eyes first before getting off while hugging myself. I was just wearing a summer shirt and skinny jeans, Baron didn't tell me it's quite cold here.
"C'mon now! Are you cold?" he asked upon walking to my side.
As he opened the door, I got out of the car, my hair waved freely from the breeze while I rubbed my arms. Baron immediately put his jacket on my shoulders.
"Put this on. I didn't know you can't take cold!" he uttered while locking the car doors. I just nodded as my reply.
"Is this the stream?" I questioned as my curious sight scanned the surroundings. It was almost twilight.
