Chapter 6

Xavier's P.O.V

The warriors of Liam's pack all transformed into werewolves as they charged toward me, trying to protect their master before I could attack him. The sound of bones cracking filled the air and their howls and growls filled the room as they encircled me with Liam standing behind them still in his human form, his upper lip curled over his sharp incisors. "Enjoy the show, Xavier"

I already connected with my pack members for them to stay alert outside the house and they must be in their wolf form. Someone needed to teach Liam a lesson and that was what I planned on doing today! He surely brought himself inside Lion's den and today, I would make him experience what happens to people who cross their territory.

The werewolves charged toward me, gripping me on the back while I lifted one in the air, throwing him on the ones standing before me as they let out a howl. I connected with my beta, for him to come to take Irene out of this place before she gets injured by Liam's pack.

For all the werewolves who charged toward me, I made sure that I broke their bones till they didn't have the strength to stand up. When Liam saw that his pack has been weakened by me, he growled as his bones cracked with his knees extending backward, his fingers grew into claws, black fur sprouted from his body, his face contorted into that of a wolf and wolf's muzzle extended in front of him as he let out a loud growl, hitting his chest with his fists.

He snarled in warning with a smirk implanted on his muzzle. All of a sudden, he took a high jump towering over me with his mouth widely opened, showing his elongated sharp incisors. Before he could jump over me, I held him by the neck, hurling him across the room. The effect of his body on the wall shook the room.

"Do you think that I can't take you down? He said in wolf speak, charging towards me with fury and fire blazing in his eyes.

I didn't say a word, one thing I strongly believed in was that action speaks louder than words. The only thing Liam knew how to do was to brag with his haughty eyes and only I knew how to break the shoulders of the proud.

Liam launched towards me with his claws spread but before he could scratch me with the claws, I scratched him with mine, scratching him from his chest down to his stomach as he let out a howl. Blood dripped to the ground as he snarled at me, with another smirk creeping at the corner of his muzzle. "I am going to kill you today Xavier, I would kill you and your mate and I would end this rivalry today once and for all"

Liam and I collided, and he swiped at me, cutting a gash in my ear as we both tore at each other. "You don't know me" I growled, biting into Liam's shoulder as he howled, trying to push me away as I dug my teeth further into his skin. Blood gushed out of his shoulder as he crumbled to the ground while his blood was smeared all over my mouth.

"You bastard! Do you have any idea about who I am? I am the next to be Supreme Alpha" Liam. stood on his back hunches, trying to charge towards me but he fell back on the ground, making a howling sound.

He mustered all the courage inside him, launching towards me. I yanked him backward as he crushed on the shelf with the books serving as a cover over him. He attempted to stand up but his bone cracked as he crumbled back to the floor.

I swiveled my gaze around the room, searching for Irene. When I couldn't find her in the room, I connected with Damian through the mind link "Have you taken her away already?"

"Yes Alpha Xavier, I have taken her to a safe abode"

"Take care of my Luna," I said, grimacing at how I addressed her as my Luna. I intentionally called her Luna before Liam so that he could believe that I had indeed found my mate.

"My Luna" He mimicked, transforming back to his human form.

"Still boastful? Uh?" I hurled a flower vase at him and it shattered to pieces on his head.

"You would never become the supreme Alpha!" He groaned, wincing in pain.

I burst out into laughter, walking towards him in a tiger-like tread as I crouched down before him "My dear cousin Liam, I want to make a promise to you. When I become the Supreme Alpha, I am going to snap your head off your neck alongside your pack members. You are all going to regret this day"

"That day will never come....." Before he could finish talking, I inserted my finger into his wound, pinning him down as he cried. Struggling to remove himself from my grip.

"Liam, I repeat it, you don't know me!"

My pack members dragged Liam and his minions out, throwing them inside a van, ready to take them to the Supreme Alpha's house so that Liam could be punished. However, it was one of the ways of getting rid of my competitors because I knew that the Supreme Alpha being Liam's father, wouldn't punish Liam with death because of the love he had for him. But one thing I knew was that Liam was going to be removed from his position as the Alpha.

If he was removed as the Alpha of his pack? How would he compete for the position of the supreme Alpha?

Damian got my car ready while I gestured for him to come as he lowered his head in reverence for me. "Has she woken up?"

"Not yet"

"Give the maid placed underneath her care, instructions for Irene. When she wakes up, she should be dolled up before I get back because we would be getting married this evening."
