Chapter 7

Xavier's P.O.V

I called for an urgent meeting and I was very sure that all the Alphas were already at Supreme Alpha Conan's house. I stylishly sent words to Supreme Alpha Conan to inform him about what his son did and how he almost killed my mate and me.

Emphasizing my mate, I exaggerated a lot of things all in a bid to make sure that Liam would be given the punishment that he deserves. Supreme Alpha Conan wasn't going to spare Liam one bit so I had to make sure that Supreme Alpha Conan wouldn't have a reason to have mercy or pity on Liam.

I left my Beta, Damian, outside the pack house, giving him strict instructions on not letting them escape because when Liam launched his attack, his Beta, Scott, wasn't there. I didn't want to take any chances with Liam because there was a high possibility that Liam might have connected with Scott through the mind link.

I sauntered into the pack house, running my hands through my hair while making sure that it was well tousled. I made sure that my dressing looked rough and made sure that blood stains were on my clothes. Everything I did was to divert Supreme Alpha Conan's attention from me. Him, he thought that I had reformed into being a sweet and calm person so I didn't want to make him have any doubts about me and I needed to paint Liam badly.

No one must know that I am still the ruthless person that I have been and I have never changed, instead, I was living under a facade because I wanted to please the Supreme Alpha.

Before I walked towards the meeting room, I made sure that I tore a piece of my shirt, keeping it inside the pocket of my trousers. I knocked on the door, before entering the room.

As soon as I entered the room, their gaze was fixated on me with the room covered with gasps while everyone's eyes widened in total disbelief. I narrowed my gaze toward the Supreme Alpha who was sitting at the rear end of the table. His eyes were also widened in total disbelief, I could sense his fury from afar.

"Something needs to be done about Alpha Liam, this is not only sick but it's bothersome" Alpha Shawn yelled while I gave him a nod.

He was doing his job perfectly! Almost all the Alphas held Liam with great disdain. He wasn't only proud but he was childish, rebellious, and always looked down on everyone. Meanwhile, I was closer to the youngest Alpha in our midst, Alpha Shawn because I kind of had a soft spot for him and I loved the way he always acted witty. Most importantly, I told him to instigate the other Alphas against Liam and that I must give him his accolades because he did a very perfect job.

I sat on the right-hand side of Supreme Alpha Conan as he took a glance at me before averting his gaze from me. His face was devoid of emotion and he seemed to be in great ponder as he lowered his head, when he raised his head back. He glanced at me taking in a deep breath. "Did my son Liam do this to you? He tried to hurt you and your mate?"

"Yes, Alpha Liam is the reason why my mate is currently unconscious. He threatened to kill the two of us, claiming that he was the only one who deserved to be the supreme Alpha" I said, heaving out a sigh.

"I see that this is what it is about, " Supreme Alpha Conan muttered, exhaling.

Alpha Shawn stood up from his chair, exchanging glances with me while I winked at him, giving him my go-ahead. "Supreme Alpha Conan, whatever Alpha Liam did today wasn't only disrespectful but evil. We all know how long Supreme Alpha Conan has stayed without a mate. Alpha Liam had no right to attack Alpha Xavier and his soon-to-be Luna! Considering the facts that we all know that Alpha Xavier is the next to be in line supreme Alpha, I hope that Alpha Liam is punished accordingly for his atrocity against Alpha Xavier and his Luna"

"Yes! Alpha Liam should be punished accordingly" All the Alphas chorused in unison.

"Thank you" I mouthed to Alpha Shawn who smirked as he sat down.

A deafening silence enveloped the room and when Supreme Alpha Conan finally broke the silence, he ordered Liam to be brought inside. Liam tried to defend himself, saying that I was the one who attacked him, showing wounds that I inflicted on him but I feigned ignorance, pretending that I didn't know what he was talking about. "He wounded me, he beat me up"

"Cut all your crap? Why did you attack him and his mate?" Supreme Alpha Conan thundered, glaring at him with his fist clenched.

Supreme Alpha Conan had Liam whipped while I watched how he groaned in pain. I glanced at Alpha Shawn and I could see how he was having a great time enjoying the show happening before him. "Father, am I even your son? How dare you humiliate me because of this despicable being"

"Whip him again" Supreme Alpha Conan roared as the whip tore through Conan's back with blood gushing out of his back.

"Because of your lack of remorse and because you attacked Alpha Xavier and his soon to be luna, you are hereby temporarily relieved of your duties for a year, and your Beta, Scott would be the Alpha of the blood moon pack"

"You are surely going to regret this father! For what you did to me, I would make sure I kill you and your fake mate, mark my words!" Liam yelled as he was dragged out of the room.

All the Alphas sympathized with me while the Supreme Alpha gestured for me to come closer. I walked closer to him, lowering my head. "Alpha Xavier, I am sorry for whatever Liam has done. I would advise you to do the necessary things with your Luna. Then bring her to me"

"Supreme Alpha Conan, you don't need to apologize and worry because I am getting married to my soon-to-be Luna this evening!"
