Chapter ten

Alex didn't make a move neither did he hold her back. His eyes remained glued on her face. Seeing his reaction only got her angry but there was nothing she could do to get him to react.

Rielle let go of his collar and yelled out loud, letting out all her frustration, anger and pain. She had kept it in for so long and so, seeing what reminded her of her painful past brought it all out.

She fell on her knees and began to cry loudly. The screams of the man that was killed in her present filled her ears. That was the last foster family she was taken to. Every other families rejected her cause they thought she was the bad luck that got her foster father killed. She was hated by the people in the orphanage.

If she had said anything about his death, they would get her killed. That was the threat she received then. She was so young and it's being years but the scene still remains fresh in her head.
