Everything around them seemed to stop as they got caught staring at each other, lost in their gaze.

Alex moved his hand from her back and that quickly jerked back her senses to what was going on.

She stood up from him in a haste and adjusted her gown. "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to......." she kept shut and bit her lower lips, not knowing how to justify herself. "It was a mistake." she finally said and turned back, back facing him as she was too embarrass to look at him.

"Shouldn't you go out? I want to sleep."

"What did you think happened at the basement when I tried to leave? If I am far from you or out of your sight and reach, it will only end up as danger for the both of us. What happened is just as tip of what would happen if you leave. You made the deal yourself and it has being stamped," he answered tiredly and crossed his legs, shutting his eyes .
