30. No regrets

Elisha’s POV

Cristella pushed me toward him, and then she shut the door and smiled. Sometimes I don't understand what my sister is trying to do. Is she trying to help me, or does she just want me to feel bad today as I have to face the man I'm starting to hate?

Arman smiled softly, and said, “Look, I’m really sorry for what I did to you.”

"You didn't do anything bad to me, Arman," I said as I shook my head and crossed my arms. "It's just…." I stopped and looked into his eyes. He put my hair behind my ears and asked, "Is it just that I'm a killer? That I had them killed for you?"

“No, I don’t see you as a killer.” I sighed.

Then he stepped forward, “Then why are you avoiding me?”

I answered quickly. “I don’t know….It’s just…. it’s not normal for me to see you killing humans…”

He nodded and gasped, "I probably shouldn't have done that."

"Do you regret killing them?"

"Why would I regret it?" he asked me with a stern look in his eyes. "If it could save you, I would do it all over,
