I don't want him to get hurt or for people to find out the truth about him. No one should find out who he really is. I'll do everything I can to keep him safe, and I worked up the courage to grab Arman's hand.

He looked at me with worried eyes that flashed sparks as he looked right into my pleading eyes. "Just go with Jake," he said after taking a deep breath. "You shouldn't be worried about me."
