35. Prove it to me

Elisha’s POV

I slowly opened my eyes and heard a lot of noise around me. It looked like some people were yelling and screaming at each other. I moved my finger, and the noise stopped when they saw me open my tired eyes. Cristella was wiping her tears in the corner when I saw her. When she saw me, she quickly walked away in shame.

Jake then checked my heart rate to make sure I was okay, and Arman was by my side, nervously stroking my hand. Beth was there, and she was looking at me. Then she checked the IV fluids and whispered something to the nurse.

When I looked at Jake, he smiled softly and asked me, "How are you feeling now?"

I wanted to say something but was so tired that I couldn't even open my mouth. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and whispered, "I...I'm so tired. How long have I been sleeping?"

“Three Days.” Jake said as he injected something in my wrist.

“Ohhh….” I gasped softly, and fell asleep again.
