47. His Burning Gaze

Elisha’s POV

While we were on the bumpy road, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. Sometimes, I looked at him when he wasn't looking at me, and when he looked at me, I quickly looked away to avoid his gaze.

I have no idea where to look. I felt his hot gaze in the corner of my right eye, making my heart beat fast. I gave a soft gasp and turned my attention back to the road. I didn't look at him again. Honestly, I'm really screwed up, and I don't know what's wrong with my life. I feel trapped in a place where I don't even know who I am.

I nervously bit on my lower lip as the car stopped in front of a massive gate made of metal and something heavy, wondering what this man would do to me if he ever got the chance.
