34. Wolf Bound

★ELAINE'S POV★

“Hi, I am Arla.” My wolf said to Beta Adrian and he smiled.

“You are so beautiful.” He retorts, gushing over her features.

Tossing him a taunting look, I moved over to the edge of the lake to look at my wolf. And indeed! She was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen— white, fluffy, and mighty. My joy knew no bounds as I jumped on my paws in excitement! “Yes! Yes! Finally!”

In the blink of an eye, Beta Adrian switched into his wolf form. If I said my wolf was mighty, his was mightier. A brown wolf stood tall in front of me as I looked up at his face. Despite being in his wolf form, he was still very charming.

“I always told you to stop looking down on yourself, Elaine. Now see how the tables turn. You have a wolf now.” His voice reverberated across the woods.

“Yes!” I squealed excitedly. “Yes, I have a wolf!”
